Q: Do I need council approval to put up a sign?
A: Yes, most councils require an application for any advertising signage. Restrictions are greater when signage / advertising is for an outside party, ie advertising brands, labels different to your own company's.

Q: What are the different types of lighting available for the different structures?
A: The most common are front lit, a series of lights located in front of the sign either on the top or bottom or both. This enables light to the front of the sign. Back lit which are lightboxes with internal access for personnel to change the sign. These have flouroscent tubes to illuminate light foward through the sign.

Q: How long does it take tobuild a sign?
A: There are many different variables whcih affect time franes for building signs. These include, council approval, road closures, traffic management plans, permits etc., which can all determine the length of construction time. Generally speaking a well organised sign can be constructed & erected anywhere form approximately 4- 6 weeks.

Q: What are the signs made of?
A: Larger sign structures are constructed of galvanised steel, with colour bond steel trims. Smaller signs may be constructed of aluminium, depending on their design requirements.

Q: How & what is involved in changing sign advertisements.
A: Signs are buil to OH & S standards(ie, catwalks, hand rails, gantries), and designed to be fitted with skins that can be changed freely or by using access equipment such as cherrypickers etc.

Q: Do you print the sign face?
A: Yes, providing the artwork is supplied by you.
